A Break From the Chaos

I have been so preoccupied and busy with job interviews, house decisions, kids, work, starting a business, and half-marathon training, that I have had absolutely no time to post about all of my new furniture finds and house decisions! The kids have been on spring break now for the past week so we all took a break to get out of town and have some much-needed fun and relaxation. It was fun, but I don't know how relaxing it was:)


We ALL had last Friday off (except Carson) so we were able to follow him on his preschool field trip on the city bus to the local pet store! It was fun for Carson to have the whole family along for the ride.

The next day, we drove to the Mall of America

for some rides and shopping (AFTER, a very 

frustrating trip to IKEA...why do people like that

place so much?!).

Some day when we go, our kids will all be

able to ride the same rides!

Overall, it was a fun weekend together and it felt

good to get out!!
