A Pinterest Fireplace.

Having Pinterest available while building a home has been one of the most beneficial tools when looking for interesting and creative ideas. I wish I could incorporate ALL of the fun ideas I find into our home! This fireplace below became one of our inspirations for our new home and has come together PERFECTLY. 

I also found old barn wood beams on Craigslist and we used 

this picture below as an idea of how to use them!

We purchased two beams from a guy in Rice Lake and 

THANKFULLY he was willing to deliver them to Eau Claire 

for us! This is what they looked like before staining them.

They actually look smaller than they really are.

They are 20' long and VERY heavy.

This is what they look like up!

The "surround" of the fireplace isn't painted

white yet, but the mantel and base are

stained the same color as the wood beams.

All of the flooring is in the house now, but

it's all covered up and protected. You get

the picture though. Didn't they do a great 

job making it look like my Pinterest inspiration?!
